Briana Bailey5月 5, 2019Lots comfortable lounge chairs across the airport without having to enter a paid lounge. Many shops and restaurants to choose from. Large airport though so takes a while to walk to gate.

Possibly my favorite airport in the world - so many options to pass time, including the Yotel to sleep in. Take in the Rijksmuseum Schiphol if you can - a sampling of the Dutch masters in the airport!

Summer B1月 23Be mindful that if you’re coming from Asia connecting elsewhere you’ll have to go through immigration and security. When planning your trip, be mindful of the very tight knot when going through there

Nice airport with good choice of food, coffee shops, stores etc. There's an outdoor area and numerous smoking rooms, so a great airport to transit and wait for you connection.

- If you're going to be stuck at an airport, this is the one to do it. Great layout, clean, efficient, countless dining choices, a museum, a casino, plus the coffeeshops are a 7 min train ride away!
One of the best airport of europe, easily connected to all major cities of NL, very well organized, not big to move around, always a pleasure to travel
- Free WiFi, many phone charging points, lots of dinner options (pizza place across Burger King in main hall is one of the best), few queues. But can get busy at peak times.
Such a big airport! Prepare to walk a long way to get to your next gate for a layover. Crowded and a little hard to find which way to go. Passport security takes 10-15 min to go through.
Huge lines. So allow yourself extra extra time. While it moves fast. But allow at least 2-3 hrs to be ok and have sometime to grab coffee or breakfast if it is an early flight
In my opinion one of the best airports in the world. Good security that uses the latest techniques, clean and lots of shops once you get through border security- One of the best airports in the world - easy to move around in, lots of shopping, and IN AIRPORT there is a casino and an art museum. Long layovers are no concern.

While getting here is fast by train. The airport itself requires a lot of walking to get to your gate
Good connections by train with Amsterdam and other cities. Quite a lot of cafes and fast food places to spend some Euros before ur trip. 30min free internet.

Favorite airport for good reason - rijksmuseum, holland blvd, airport park, panorama area, etc. Free wifi here. There's a lot to see and do. Find the open piano - listen to a stranger or play yourself
Rex7月 14, 2018Feels crowded due to compactness and low ceilings. Many shops and restaurants before and after security. Signage is excessive and sometimes incorrect. I-Amsterdam sign outside in case you missed it
When you've got an overnight layover, & can't make it into the city, & the airport hotels are full, go to the bread bar open 24/7 & then find the chairs by the sky lounges & make your own night of it.

Super easy public transport system to and from the airport. Albert Heijn right outside arrivals is a great place to grab some refreshments. Uber pickup has been moved to in front of the Sheraton
Concerts over the airport for some Christmas spirit :) good airport to be "stuck", lots of options and nice lounges.lockers for 7€ (M) or 9€ (L) for 24h
Spacious airport, with enough entertainment and seats. Take enough time to go to your gates, or if you need to transfer between them

Its nice to take a time relaxing, before go on with our journey. Just enjoying the atmosphere and contacting home via free wifi while sitting in front of a cup of cappuccino....
Clean. Considering the fact that many different people from all over the world stay in Schiphol a few hours before their flight leaves, they have few to no vegan and allergy-friendly food options
Schiphol has improved over the last year. No one tried to run me down in those airport buggies, and there’s more choice of food and drink. The big Starbucks is nice, and lots of charging points.
Huge airport with lots of stuff to waste some time. It has been very clean when I went. Only minor down-side is that sometimes directions can become a bit confusing in this big of a place...
Welcome to Amsterdam! Do not use the taxi system. Public transport is fantastic and easy. Just get a 1/2/3/4 day pass, an anonymous OV chipkaart, or better yet, an iamsterdam card.
