In 1953, Roger, Virginia, and 7-year-old Bill Clinton moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Clinton spent his childhood there with his younger half-brother, Roger Jr.
Bill Clinton and his then-fiancé, Hillary Rodham, moved to Dallas, Texas, where he managed Senator George McGovern’s 1972 presidential campaign from campaign headquarters on Lemmon Avenue.
Bill and Hillary Clinton were married in the living room of their first home in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1975. While there, Bill taught law at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
In 2004, Bill Clinton underwent open-heart bypass surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. In 2010 he was hospitalized again for chest pain and had two stents placed in his coronary arteries.
