Lavender blooming peaks at the end of June/beginning of July. All other time you could get lavender oil, dried flowers , and enjoy the vistas.
Nice peach and apple farm. Come here to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, cider, eggs and flowers. Owners are very friendly.
The food truck has great breakfast sandwiches! And don't forget to get some fresh produce from the vendors

Great hoagies, (to New-Yorkers they are known as "subs"), casual fast food place, and cool atmosphere. Did you know that these folks also own a couple places nearby (pizza and grill).
Nice and quiet beach with calm and clean water. I never seen any crowds here.
Huge REI outdoor store. Come here for all your mountain and hiking needs. They also have some rental equipment.

Very nice (although a bit pricey) restaurant in Newport. I love their scallops, oysters and beer selection.
Great vistas of the sea. Come here to watch the sunset and sunrise, walk around the Newport, and enjoy the sea. Be careful though, lots of poison ivy along the walk.
