One of the best places to go in the Twin Cities & the best museum in Minnesota IMO. Offers a variety of art styles, mediums & eras. Gets many of the tours including da Vinci, the Louvre & Rembrandt.
Prince shot Purple Rain here, so it’s def. legendary. If you get the chance to see a show here, do so. The place is big enough to feel the energy, yet small enough to see the band.
Fika is fabulous and worth the wait. You can always wander around the Swedish Institute while you are waiting for your table!
Incredible contemporary art collection that's on par with those in New York, London, & Berlin. A lot of installation/video pieces. Their store is easily one of the best museum stores I've been to.
Perfect place to go for a run; 3.1 miles around, or 5k. Good people watching and great views of Minneapolis. Renting a kayak or canoe is great fun as well

It's hard to believe that there is such a beautiful waterfall and nature area so close to a bustling metropolitan area. Also, the in-park restaurant Sea Salt Eatery is a can't-miss! Try the Po-Boy!
Amazing place to stroll around and discover - secret paths, bridges, wooded areas, and amazing hidden neighborhood of beautiful old houses - seems like you've stepped back in time
The building is a Frank Gehry design, so just seeing it from the outside makes the visit worthwhile, but if you have time, go in. It’s usually free.
the mall of america is really fun and full of a ton of great stores. there's also really good food and nickelodeon universe is pretty sweet too
