Great walking/running path. A little less than 3 miles around. Connects to lake Calhoun near the bandshell.
Pretty much beautiful any time of day. If you can do sunset from the East side you will get some great silhouettes of the West side

One of the most popular lakes in the Twin Cities area. Great for Jogging and people watching.
This is one of my favorite spots in the area with lots of postcard worthy views of Mt. Hood. In summer, don't forget your sunscreen and soak up the rays floating, kayaking, canoeing or just lounging.

it's a big lake. explore it all. make sure to ride through the locks, visit Frye's Leap, and make sure you take a ride down beautiful Long Lake to the quaint town of Harrison.

Sit for a spell and either watch the occasional swans visit or see a kickball, softball, baseball, ultimate, soccer, spikeball, or some recreational activity being played on the nearby fields.
Beautiful walks around the lake, a large off leash area for dog lovers, playground, and a boat launch. This park has it all! Very peaceful and tranquil.
It's absolutely stunning, and you can see it on your way to trails such as Marymere Falls and Sol Duc Trail.
