78 Below, both fan-friendly (no cover) & musician-friendly (a quality back-line + bands get 2-3 hrs to stretch out), is a much needed UWS live-music spot. Dig it & tip your bartender & waitress well!

Taffy, is there another pl in UWS you can see awesome established bands for free? Let me know. Sodas are usually 4 bucks but when there's a band playing, sodas cost $7. "I just wanna dance!"

The free kamikaze ain't free. It's bullshit. The bartender told me its only for one person per night. Again, bullshit.

They charge $7.50 for a glass of plain club soda...no refill..it cost more than the beers I bought my husband. Absolutely ridiculous.
