Bonobos8月 9, 2012Great two-for-one happy hour every day until 8PM. And they even let you bring in tacos from the delicious taco truck across the street.
Incredible old New York vibe. A bit edgy and I love that. Tom the bartender is lovely and sings pretty songs upstairs sometimes. Oh and the Treehouse room upstairs is a great place for music.
A charming mix of old bar smell and new bar windows and sidewalk seating. Great people watching here and if you're the type, a bit of frosé in the warmer months.
Neighborhood bar with a local charm has cool bartenders, reasonable prices, and an upstairs lounge with sofa and ottoman-style seating and floor-to-ceiling windows providing a great view outside.
ben m8月 20, 2014Been here a bunch but once I took a first date here before seeing Sound Team and Cold War Kids at Mercury Lounge. That was 2006 and we are now married and have a daughter. It worked! Oh, have an IPA.

Kristen Baxter7月 20, 2012This place seems much more enticing from the outside than once you enter it's surprisingly bland depths. Also, essentially every bar on this block has a buy one get one free happy hour.
Sit upstairs in the corner and look out over 2nd St & Ave A. One of the best seats in NYC to have a drink. Hint: don't try this one weekend.

Not sure it's deserves to be called a Dive Bar. If you get your hand stamp at Mercury Lounge beers are only $3. PS go up stairs already!
