MAC: Great location for hikes and rafting/kayaking! Gorgeous views, peaceful nights, fresh air, wonderfully attentive and friendly staff! Villa accommodation is comfortable and clean.

MAC: Small little museum with replica of Perak Man, the 11000-year old skeleton found in the valley around 1987. Interesting info on how the UNESCO certification as a World Heritage site was awarded.
MAC: It's one of the few campus that allows private cars to drop off NSF and ICT men nearer to their blocks. Saves them from lugging heavy bags even before they start service!
MAC: Gyudons are value for money. Love the 4 different sizes of bowls (S, M, L and XL) to cater to appetite. Always add half-boiled egg to lather the gyudon with delicious gooeyness!
MAC: Tuck Kee crayfish and prawn horfun has good 3 crayfish halves and 2 prawns. However, don't expect real Ipoh horfun taste. Gravy is brown and thick.

MAC: Claypot bak kut with ribs, beancurd and yao char kuai (fried long dough strips). Dry bakuteh is also good, but choose the spare ribs soft bone option.
MAC: Although it's fine dining, not all the dishes were worth the price. Recommend the duck breast and salmon steak for the excellent mix of flavours. Crepes suzette was such an exciting french dessert.

MAC: Ambience is beautiful and matches the food presentation. Service is excellent and dinner set menu is worth every cent for its 1-Michelin star quality.
MAC: This place has a good view of the cable cars. Food is good, though priced higher for the view! Tian Jin Han is mild tasting for those who can't or dislike spice. Tempura prawns are very crispy.

MAC: Penang char kuay teow in a bakery is an amazing find! Agree with many others that it's good standard in Singapore. Nice and dry with enough wok hei.
MAC: Tiny cafe with only 6 small tables, enough for 12 patrons. Burnt pineapple cheesecake is moist, but not the best I've tasted. Gelato might be worth a try next time.

MAC: Less salty than before, which is healthier. For the minimum $6 bowl, you get 4 pieces of chicken, 2 fish cake slices, 1 potato piece and several tofu puffs. Quite tasty, though less curry flavour.
