Featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," this hole-in-the-wall spot is not to be missed! Toki can get busy, so make a reservation ahead of time. I recommend the Red Miso!
Tourist Tip: Love the Classic and the Kimchi. The egg is always perfectly creamy dreamy. Extra Noodle. Chicken Butt or Pork Cheek add on. Seriously. buttcheek FTW.

Went around 2pm on a Monday and had no wait. Pickle plate, dumplings (get them steamed), Taipei curry chicken, and kimchi were all outstanding.

There is ALWAYS a wait here but you can have a drink at The Pug while you wait. They share a license so you can bring your drinks upstairs. The classic ramen with homemade sriracha sauce is a dream. Don't hesitate to order a side of kimchi and an Ice Dome sake to top it off.
I've had the fried prawn heads and "chicken butts" as add-ons, both were AMAZING. Good rule of thumb with Toki: If it sounds like you won't like it, you'll LOVE it!
