The entire menu is just awesome but this THE place to go in Phoenix for fresh, quality sushi. Staff is friendly and the chefs are creative with the specials.
You have to try the wings here. They are unique and delicious. Order them spicy - it isn't as hot as you would expect "spicy" to mean.
Love the zucchini nut muffins, BBQ chicken salad, and the mac and cheese is rich and yummy. Free wi-fi makes this a wonderful place to study.
The chicken and beef teriyaki is really good with lots of veggies. Decent selection of Japanese sodas (like Ramune).

The jalapeno bacon mac and cheese is rich and divine. Also recommend the french toast. Order a "flight" of bacon to try one of each flavor!
Great selection of proteins, spices, vegetables, and sauces. Drop a dollar or two in the cooks' tip jar and they will perform for you!
Long time favorite place for excellent pizza. They have carry-out access right in front.
Good salads, great garlic cheese bread, and the deep-dish cookie with ice cream is sinful. Chicago style pizza is good, but heavy. Be sure to plan time for long baking times.
The pork ribs are consistently really good. They also have an interesting cinnamon french dressing for the salads.
Bean burrito double-wrapped. Take a dozen of the homemade tortillas home.
Stop by for a sukiyaki beef sandwich and a UFO for lunch. The bread and pastries are amazing and what this place is known for.

If you want an adventure in adult ice cream, this is THE place to go. Even the great Alton Brown named their Toffee Banofi Sundae as one of the best things he has ever eaten.
Best hot dogs in the valley. Try an all-beef and a polish. Don't forget one of their great chocolate malts.
Get the Tom Kah (coconut milk hot and sour soup). Seriously. It's like heaven in a bowl. Eat it with white rice, too.
