The TWA Moonliner seen on the SW corner of the roof is actually a replica of a replica. The original replica that once stood there is now at the National Airline History Museum at downtown airport.
Check out the beautiful LED lit halo above. With a 70 foot diameter, changing colors and ~3,000 "flying objects" you'll always find something new. Can you spot a biplane? :-)

Yup, that's a real plane on the roof. It's a Piper Tomahawk dubbed "The Spirit of Lee's Summit." Owners Joe and Vince are avid pilots so you'll notice an aviation theme throughout the store.
Great spot for observing traffic on 35L. Spent hours here with no confrontation. Plenty of police, security and ops folks drove by, no issue. Now that's refreshing!
