What I like best about the ferry building is I don't have to choose. I can snack on Hog Island Oysters AND get a Roli Roti sando AND eat cowgirl creamery cheese AND get a geranium macaron at Miette.
Stop by during the day for some great people watching, day drinking, and relaxsunning. Or come by at night for a picturesque cityscape.

Union Square is a haven for shoppers: look in any direction and you will see upscale department stores. Nearby, visitors can hop onto a cable car on Powell Street.

The Gaslamp is popular with tourists, but locals will venture downtown to grab some great food and visit a few boutique shops. Easy parking at Horton Plaza.
