Prague Art

Ahoj! Prague Art was started by Anna and Jared Simpson and features the artwork of Anna's Mum, Ladislava Fruehaufova, a retired illustrator and graphic designer from the City of a Hundred Spires — beautiful Prague in the Czech Republic. At Prague Art, we offer beautifully illustrated Cards and Giclée Prints of Ladislava’s artwork. About the Artist Ladislava, or simply Ladka, studied at Hollar High School in Prague, which specializes in art. She has worked for a Czechoslovakian magazine, “100+1 ZZ,” as a graphic designer and has illustrated several books. Ladka gets her inspiration from everyday life, which she likes to mix with the world of fantasy. She is a huge animal and nature lover and is also passionate about cooking and baking. People, animals, nature, angels and fairies, castles and European motifs are some of the many themes featured in Ladka’s paintings. Her work fits into many categories including fantasy and abstract.
