American Conservative Party

We are a group of ordinary citizens: bloggers, town council members, civil servants, business owners, engineers, you name it. This is not an "astroturf" party funded by a billionaire or political has-been with an agenda of his own; this is America, as mainstream as it gets. We're not a "TEA Party" trying to teach the Republican Party a lesson by "changing from within" but an independent limited-government political party. We are willing and eager to support Republicans who support our principles, but reserve the right, in a free and democratic Republic, to run our own candidates independent of "the machine" who are willing to stand up for: * Limited and enumerated governmental power. * Property rights and competition in a free market. * Personal and community responsibility, and a civil society It is for these things that American Conservatives will strive, on a daily basis, at all levels of Government, whether it takes a generation or three.
