Hip Korean noodle joint in NoMad was constantly changing menu, dumping loved dishes at random. One day they jettisoned entire menu & became a sandwich shop. Customer research not their thing, I guess.
Korean hipster fusion joint in NoMad opened October 2015 in space formerly occupied by Taan Thai. Within week of launch it had sellout lines at lunch halfway down the block. $7 meals thru Oct. 31.
Wonderful Korean food. Perfect shirt ribs. Galbitan soup. Wine list not bad at all. We celebrated my wife's B-day with our friends and enjoyed very much with service and food.
Noodle heaven. I order mild and it's still pretty spicy. The spinach dumplings are the best veggie dumplings I've ever had. My favorites are the Liang-pi cold skin noodles and the cumin lamb noodles.

Omakase from the downstairs sushi bar is amazing. Don't leave without trying the hand rolls (go spicy tuna!). I was also digging the salmon-meets-blowtorch sushi. Ask for fresh wasabi too.
They seem to change the look of their menu at least once a month, but just the look, not the offerings. That's a good thing. Food is bomb, staff is excellent and pay no heed to the pesky B rating.

Tasty Northern Chinese cuisine in unpretentious setting. Could not stop slurping down the spicy tofu dish. Good dumplings, too. Could use more vegetarian options, but what’s here is good!
