I got really friendly and chatty service with my cashier and attentive servers. Made my solid pasta experience just that much better!
Beware mapping software! Enter via Walsh and follow signs; entering on Scott (as suggested) will never get you there. But it's a great place! Honest, ethical, friendly, and straightforward car folks!
If I didn't know the place existed, it'd be hard to find. (In an industrial park? Next to a machine shop?) But it's so fun, and so chill! Seth & Stephanie are the regulars, and are super-great hosts!
Sweet digs! There's one Tuvalu flag on the wall, and another you can wear as a cape if you ask politely. It's pretty cool! No Tuvalu beers on tap or anything, but they claim they're working on it.
A hot dog and soda (with refill!) for $1.50 is still the cheapest meal in town! An entire combination pizza for a shade under $10 is a fantastic deal, too - an ever-present casual party staple.
Tasty fare! Whether you're getting a wrap or a straight-up kebab plate, it's pretty delicious, with good service to boot. Parking not nearly as bad as I had expected for 12:30pm on a random weekday.
Tasty toppings! Lovely bite in their standard red sauce. Not the cheapest place ever, but a GREAT selection of on-tap beers makes up for it.
Don't expect a kitchen with pub fare here; this is a straight-up tasting room attached to a brewery. Really pleasant people running the joint, and lots of tasty beer offerings to be enjoyed.
Not a drive for the timid of spirit, getting to this location! Rough and narrow roads in places. But gorgeous beauty en route, and a spectacular destination so very few will experience.
Try not to visit when it's raining. Sometimes the power goes out, and My Momma puts you to work, as there are ditches to be dug and culverts to be cleared. It's otherwise marvelous times, though.
This is a nice location if you just want to grab a beer, a Slim Jim, a taquito, a microwave burrito, and be on your way. Convenient to the expressway; staff has always been super-friendly to me.
Friendly, chatty staff. They have beer from more esoteric breweries (e.g., Ninkasi) than the 7-11 next door. Standard convenience store pricing, but I definitely appreciate the depth of their variety.
