If you like taffy or fudge, you need to stop here. They have tons of regular candy, but the homemade taffy and fudge are excellent!
My favorite stop between Indy and Oklahoma City. Such a neat place to look around at all the Route 66 memorabilia and stretch your legs. Great playground for the kiddos too!

This is the midpoint between Chicago and LA on Old US Route 66. This is a cute little place. Breakfast is good, and the Texas Pancakes are plate sized. The homemade Ugly Pies are also good as well.
Did you know? The famous Blue Hole is a natural geological phenomenon. The pool is 80 feet deep with a constant water temperature of 64 degrees. Take a dip on a hot day!

Forget the cynical idiots who call it a "hole in the ground." You'll get an amazing view and great pics. The movie, museum and even the gift shop are great. Not a tourist trap. Go if you like science.

Great old west gold mining town, on Rt. 66, wild donkey's, gunfights, great food. Just outside of Bullhead City.
This is a great stop through the desert. Beautiful imagination of this artist. Stop in and just walk around. It is free, but there is a tip box. You might even be lucky enough to meet Elmer like us!
