Well worth the 40 minute drive from the city, the bus is super cheap. We walked in the back way for less crowds and went straight to the temple of the moon instead of heading to the temple of the sun

Cool experience. You can buy drinks, food, souvenirs, & live music while on the boat. Negotiate the boat price. We were told $MXN350 per person for 1 hour. Seemed too high. Maybe tourist price, LOL.
Excellent museum highlighting the life & art of the fascinating Frida Kahlo. The museum is in a very hip & interesting neighborhood. Also don't miss L. Trosky 's museum closeby.
The Zócalo itself is impressive but the atmosphere is a circus and is not in anyway a depiction of Mexican life. Locals told me later that walking through it once is all you ever need to do. Move on.

Not to be missed in CDMX. This is THE place to learn about Mexica culture. The area offers much more than you‘ll see from the outside and the museum has outstanding exhibits.

Amazing experience. One of the best things I saw in Mexico; right up there with Teotihuacan. If you love design/architecture, spend the extra $ for photography rights. I regret I didn't.

Bypass the fee and ask the doorman for "el bar" or "el restaurant" which will take you 3 floors below the observation deck. Cocktails and drinks are terrible, stick to beer or G&T.

The most standout restaurant in DF. Start with tuna tostadas and margaritas. The Contramar whole grilled fish (1/2 verde, 1/2 roja) is so freaking good. Also, the octopus, potato & basil dish is 😍👌.

Try the croissants; they’re just brilliant. The place is pretty small and even though the service is very efficient you’ll probably have to wait for a little bit. It’s totally worth it though!

Go for the classic Spanish hot chocolate. Thick and perfect for dipping. The Mexican hot chocolate tasted just like Swiss mix, nothing special. Churros are a dream!

Really cute hip spot with pretty decent food. Duck tostadas and tuna tacos were great. They also have a few big bowl salads if you just need a break from taco touring the town 😅
Order the Mole Negro Enchiladas. Best thing I've eaten in a while. The duck fritters were also great.

THE cocktail place in CDMX. They're got some tasty concoctions & they can make anything you ask for. It can get pretty busy at night, so you might have to put your name the waiting list even to stand.
Tip: you can’t dance here. You watch others dance inside circles. Also, you must get a token first to pay for beer. The machine upstairs in the back has the shortest line.

Without a doubt the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Mexico City- the food was astonishing and the service was impeccable. Will definitely go back. The ant eggs are delicious- be sure to try them!
The pozole is famous but everything is good. Open all the time. Multiple locations. Cheap cheap and happening.
The flavours are spot on! arroz con leche (milk rice) and chocolate obscuridad (dark chocolate) were phenomenal! You want to order another one right after you finish the first!

Delicious! Chilaquiles & breaded chicken tortas are awesome. But be prepared to join a huge line for them. And come early or risk the tortas running out.
