工場見学や醸造体験など、定期的にイベントが行われている。醸造体験は年に１度冬に行われ、半日かけてビールを仕込み、計４日間で４０樽ほど仕込まれる。４月に出来上がったビールを飲むイベントが開催される。
駅から歩いて5分ほど。中核施設はウイスキー博物館(有料試飲カウンター併設)、その奥に無料試飲のできる建物があり、さらにその奥にお土産屋がある。無料試飲はアップルワイン(ブランデー)、鶴17年、余市10年、割り用の水と氷もあるのでストレートが苦手な方も安心。余市12年の蒸留所限定銘柄は是非買っておきたいところ。
そのまま、ほどほど、あじわいと塩、醤油、味噌の組み合わせを選びます。そのまま塩だとエビ感が強く、あじわい味噌は濃厚になります。エビと豚骨の割合が変わるようです。麺も細麺と太麺から選べます。かなりの人気店です。
Ｂ定食好きの常連です。ザンギボリューム満点です。麻婆豆腐も美味しい！昼の会議とかにも二階を利用させて貰ったこともあります。飽きが来ない美味しさです。テイクアウトもしてくれて重宝してます。

An absolute must visit, you get really close to the monkeys. Careful they don't steal your things! Winter with snow would be best but still good in summer. Walk up the Forrest route there in Summer.

Kind of creepy and lovely old ryokan at the base of Lake Kawaguchi. Mountain view rooms are amazing, weather permitting. Dinner and breakfast sets are impossible to finish, but fun to sample.

Very cute little old town. Something that is exactly missing from Tokyo. There are lots of little shops as well ranging from miso to sake producers.
郡上八幡市内の観光時にまず訪れると便利。コインロッカー、広いトイレもあり、バスやタクシーを待つ間に座るスペースもあり、お土産も買えます。 郡上踊りの時はここのトイレで浴衣に着替えている方もいました。私はホテルをチェックアウトした朝、ここで荷物を預けて半日観光し、その後ここに戻ってタクシーを呼んで高速バス乗り場まで行きました。その待ち時間に座って休憩したりお土産を買ったりできました。

Unbelievably steep original stairs: tricky for me but the 90 yr olds around me had no problems. Beautiful during sakura. Interesting temple/shrines next door. Lovely Kiso river at the base/west side.
Nabana no Sato has an amasing winter illumination "light show". * It opens from mid Oct to May. *You can easily spend about 3 hours there. ***Be ready to pay in cash for entry and attractions.
Arrive early. No later than 10:00am to avoid the crowds. Just after the ticket counter, on the left, you can request an awesome English-speaking guide for free. Makes for a much better experience!!

Didn't expect such a high class restaurant in Miyajima. Enjoy a nice lunch with the Kakiya Set, which includes 5 different types of Oysters. Extremely delicious and enjoy a matching wine or sake.

Great for a day hike, just an hour or so away from Tokyo. There are several trails around and you can see Mt. Fuji from the top on clear days.

富士五胡・精進湖と西湖の間に広がり、富士山の側火山による貞観噴火（864年）の溶岩の上に常陽葉の木々が生い茂っていて、地面は緑の苔が生えた岩肌と張り出した木々の根っこで凸凹している。

Follow the lovely walking trail and walk across to the other side of the lake for a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. It's a slightly longer trek, but worth it!
Nemophila (blue flowers) were very nice (in early May). Huge nature park, but crazy amounts of cars during golden week. Park near the Costco (its near the park and not as crowded...)
Kamikochi is maybe one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. If you're a backpacker, this is your point of entry into the Japanese alps. Just breathtaking.
