Oh my goodness - everything was amazing! Seriously, one of the best meals I've ever had. We enjoyed the fried okra, chicken tikka masala, black dhal, and ruby chicken. Would recommend all!
Try the bacon sandwiches on a morning. £6 each but you will not be disappointed. Best bacon butty in all of London.
My new favourite in the Pho Mile. Not an easy decision as the competition around is really good, however the monkfish with dill won my tummy and my heart. Delicious. And really cheap!
Gorgeous East Asian cuisine. Get the chargrilled shell on prawns, crispy quail, slow roasted pork and burnt egg plant salad, and finish with a pan of warm sago pudding.
Breakfast is delicious, especially the shakshuka. Lunch salads are a treat, and they try to accommodate food allergies and intolerances given the middle eastern propensity for nuts in recipes.
They make £6.75 sandwiches but they're huge! You get 2 sandwiches made between slices of delicious loaf. You can even share if it you get something on this side. Nice little shop area by the entrance

Everything we had was good. Cauliflower shawarma, pork belly, chicken shawarma, hummus - all amazing. Berber & Q is on trend at the mo and, irritatingly, offers no bookings so expect a long wait.
Amazing ceviche and other Peruvian dishes. The grilled octopus is a must! But it is not cheap if you want to have a solid meal. Dishes are tapas sized. So for two get ready to pay upwards of £90.

One of the best Korean Street food places around! Usually a long queue but so worth the wait! The Bao burgers, with spicy pulled pork are to die for here!

Amazing sushi! Don't be fooled by the small, simple size of the restaurant. Eating in was comfortable and service was impeccable. Sushi was amazingly fresh and tasty, one of the best in London.
Limited menu catering to vegetarians & non. Delicious & generous portions, the fish stew and lamb with potatoes were amazing. The bread is available only after 7.30 so it gets busy around this time.
East London's best chicken restaurant! The menu is basic - chicken & sour! Try their massive chicken buns with the so-crispy-so-tasty chicken, the aubergine starters and their sour cocktails.
The bento and the curry boxes are amazing. I strongly recommend the chicken breast katsu curry and the salmon teriyaki. The venue can be packed at times, but usually the service is quite fast.
The Parrillada Deluxe platter is superb. Be prepared to eat a lot of great meat. Wash it down with one of the Malbecs on the wine menu.
Feel like in Austria in N1. Authentic Austrian food and products. Try a classic schnitzel or go for my favourite cheese sausage! You can't go wrong with anything in this place. Coffee is AMAZING!
One of the best places for pizza in London, with brilliantly chewy, smoky crusts. Go for a half metre of pizza and it's delivered on its own little trestle table. Pure Neapolitan joy.
Very nice chicken souvlaki and pork souvlaki, decent priced, very fast service and tasty fries with feta spread. Prefer souvlaki/skewer instead of gyros.
One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants along this stretch of Kingsland Road. Try the papaya salads, pho and bun cha nem.
Authentic Greek food done well. This is the real deal, proper souvlaki as good as anything you'll find in Greece.
Lovely spot on Kingsland Basin with an authentic Japanese feel. A bit tough to find though - look for the metal gate!

This small sushi place serves really authentic and fresh nigiri and sashimi. They also have some rolls and donburi but no udon nor katsu. Sushi lovers should check it out. Nice price, too.
Try one of their sandwiches with 'haggis' - in case you don't know what's that, check it up only afterwards! Brilliantly simple and tasty concept, Scottish style.
The hippie fries and the chilli dog is an excellent combo. Loving the Viking themed drinks they've got going at the moment too! Always an excellent choice.

Great place to go for a quick bite to eat. Also plenty of space for a sit in meal. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Great burritos here, especially the chicken one!
Check out the toasted banana bread with a flat white in this award winning coffee shop. They also do coffee courses in latte art if you want to learn how to serve great coffee at home.
Great food upstairs. Not just pies any more - it's proper gastro pub, bordering on fine dining, reasonably priced. Produce from Cornwall.
I finally got in! Queues can be long but the food is served quickly and is delicious. Steamed buns are a must. I also had the spicy fried chicken and the aubergine served with wonton chips. So tasty!

The most delicious udon noodles outside of Japan. The waiters are very knowledgable about the dishes so it is always worth asking about the chef etc
Karan runs a good one; tasty and well prepared Sri Lankan/South Indian dishes. Bonemarrow varuval, devilled shrimps, black pork Kari with hoppers and roti, all very nice!
Huge portion for the goat shoulder! It's meant to be for 2 people but can definitely feed 3 or even 4. Authentic somtum (spicy papaya salad). Chicken wing is absolutely delicious!
£5 lunch is quite light on the meat/veg dishes & heavy on the rice, but was delicious. Snack of the day for £1 was 2 enormous, fresh, fist-sized onion pakoras. Sweet/salty lassies for £2 is a bargain.
Good food, challenging conventional ways of preparing and combining flavours. We really enjoyed every dish, they've set the bar high. The cocktails are also delicious. Not for everyone. Be brave.

Excellent high tea selection served in a charming room at the Gallery, with an extensive list of teas to choose from. Scones were crisped on the outside soft on the inside, cakes & sandwiches spot on.
Everything is good in Nopi, I love the food, the ambiance, staff etc. Don't forget to make a reservation. Best Mediterranean in London, definitely! Highly recommended
Touch the table to order and items come from the kitchen quickly, about £10 for large portions. You can see them making the food too! Watch out for the crowds though.

Good brunch place. Had the Aussie which was a good basic breakfast. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. Bloody Mary was delicious despite the fact you can see thru it. Fresh pressed juices are great
Great for clean organic food and juices. I had scrambled eggs and bacon on sourdough & a carrot and chia juice plus an almond milk latte. Wonderful sitting outside in the sunshine wrapped in blankets.
Wonderful food. 40 stories high so you also get a really good view of London. Try the Bacon wrapped dates, Spicy Ox cheek doughnut and, The Duck and Waffle. It'll be booked up but it's worth the wait.
A bunch of more artisan stuff in a food court like setting. Look around a little before deciding so you don't regret your choice later!

A fine array of small sharing dishes. Calamari, okra fries, paneer and black daal are all delicious, and the house chai is lovely. Beautiful setting, too.
Absolutely delicious. First Okonomiyaki experience and it definitely met up to my expectations. The dumplings are also great and the staff is ridiculously friendly. Come here and you won't regret it!
Love the sea bass, shrimp and scallop ceviches and the duck rice. Skip the tuna and salmon dishes. Try the Pisco sour. Great place and way better than the other properties.
