John Caliban: Really flavorful, authentic, cheap Thai food here. It's a small space, so take away is a good option. Green curry, Papaya salad, Tom yum are all delicious.
John Caliban: While it might be a misnomer to call this place Vietnamese, the SE Asian favorites are packed with flavor and topped with fresh veggies--a great value. Hamy is da bamy!
John Caliban: A bit more like Sicilian style pizza than Liguria focaccio, this place has delicious toppings on tasty dough. You can also take it to eat near Zion Church or Weinberg park.
John Caliban: Tonkatsu broth is on the thinner end of the spectrum and relatively complex. Pork belly pieces are nicely seasoned and flavorful. Best to come here early or alone to grab a seat in front.
John Caliban: The chefs maintain a decent quality here. Don't be afraid to order in the Asian direction. If there's an off beat special, it's probably because they know how to prepare it.
John Caliban: Great selection of English novels and travel guides. The media center downstairs has lots of CDs and DVDs and the staff at the desk there can recommend new bands and albums to check out.
