Clark Chiles: Chicfila is always good but Vestavia has an especially friendly staff & the new location is beautiful. Great place to sit down with the family. For goodness sakes bring back the cole-slaw!
Clark Chiles: I have fond memories of eating here after little league games back in the early 80's. They are still a fantastic deli with a great selection of beer and wine. My favorite is the Southerner Sandwich.
Clark Chiles: Yes it's messy but I still love a good Milo's burger. The sauce, the onions, the always hot fries and delicious tea (remember to ask for lemons). Vestavia location is usually very clean.
Clark Chiles: It's not fine dining for sure but their fried chicken is really good. Also the best value cheeseburger around. Similar to Krystal, the cheeseburger is heavy on mustard & onion.. a late night legend
Clark Chiles: I love The Garage Cafe dang it! Been drinking here for 21 years now, and it still has the best atmosphere in Southside for outdoor mingling. A favorite among restaurant staff, freaks, geeks & suits!
Clark Chiles: As someone who worked for Frank Stitt for 4 years, trying to summarize "what's good here" is laughable. All of his restaurants are phenomenal, but Highlands is special. Simply the best.
Clark Chiles: A Birmingham original, this beautiful restaurant on the mountain has so much to offer in its scenery and atmosphere to make it a destination. The menu is very traditional but never dissapoints.
Clark Chiles: One of my favorites, a great place for a date or business meeting as the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. I'm hooked on their cornmeal crusted oysters with cayenne remoulade. Incredible side dishes!
