Best to take the ferry from Patriot Point so you can also see a great naval museum. Also instead of walking around, its best to follow the ranger tour so you can learn the most from the experience
We think this is the best naval museum around so much history inside the USS Yorktown. Make sure to follow the number tours so you don't miss anything and make available half a day of free time

The Bacon Double Cheeseburger was good and I only could eat half till I got full. The only downfall was the bread was a bit dry. The lemonade was better than the sweet tea. The A-Plenty is a overkill.

Often-overlooked animals: the giant tortoises near the exit; the hornbills, who often flaunt food in their beaks at passersby (usually dead mice); the Koopaesque snapping turtle in the reptile house.
At the top of the falls go up the road toward the cabins. Take the right fork and keep going past the cabins onto the dirt road. Follow that to the old church. It's a neat place and work the drive. :)
Make sure you get a hiking permit from the station if you really want to do exploring, lots of scary signage around the park! I didn't know State Parks were so strict!
This is the best aviation museum that I have ever been to. A lot of great aircraft on display all the way back to the first flight. When in Pensacola, FL, this is a must!
