- Dens2月 20, 2015Seek out the biggest fish head you can find and take a photo with it. If you can beat this one, tweet me @dens.

- Karl Warden4月 3, 2017This place is awesome. We did not get in line at 2:30am for the tuna auction at 5:45 or whenever it starts BUT the food here is incredible! I especially loved the place in the photo called Matakoiya.

- Betony Kelly3月 14, 2015Don't worry if you're not hardcore enough to make the tuna auction at 5am. The wholesale market is still fascinating. Just be respectful and don't get in the way!
- Simple Discoveries3月 31, 2016Wake up really early (or don't sleep) if you want to hit the Tuna Auction as only 120 spots available. A 3am arrival got us there just in time!
- Ronak Daya10月 29, 2016Skip going for the auction and go around 9 to explore. Try a bit of everything and take in the sights, before heading for a sushi breakfast
- Ailie Chang5月 13, 2016You have to decide if you want to be first in line to see the Tuna Auction or eat at Sushi Dai. We chose auction and got there at 2:30am and were 60/120 ppl. After auction, Sushi Dai line was SO long!

- Jon Steinback11月 23, 2011Go at the crack of dawn (like a bit before 5.30am) any day for the tuna auction, get a bowl of tuna sashimi at a stall, and then go take a nap at the hamarikyu botanical gardens nearby.

- Tony Xerri11月 25, 2013The craziest Japanese experience I've ever encountered. They do not give two sh!ts about you here, in a good way of course. Watch out for moving carts and explore various species of fresh fish!
- K B9月 28, 2018Very enjoyable couple of hours wandering around the market but as I went Saturday lunchtime it was incredibly crowded with huge long lines for almost every sushi shop. Many places had sold out too
- Epicurious8月 24, 2010Two counters at this enormous, crowded market stand out above the rest: Sushi-Dai and Daiwa Sushi. This is the freshest sushi you will ever try, and the immense variety will impress you too.
- Teresa9月 8, 2015The wait at Daiwa sushi was only around 40 mins (little compared to next door). Our chef was very personable and adorable, and the chef's special was absolutely delicious!
