- Jimmy Ti11月 27, 2017Arrive early and head straight for the Straw Hat Cafe before it gets crowded to avoid the massive wait. Be sure to check out the Saturn Theatre for original short animation limited for the Museum!
- Kate Davis8月 23, 2017Look in every corner, nook and cranny... or you'll miss something! Be sure to see the show in the theater (show up early to get in line) bc they are usually exclusives you won't be able to see again!
- Shinnawy12月 8, 2019What an experience! You don’t have to be a Ghibli/Miyazaki fan to enjoy this museum. It disconnects you from reality and takes you to a lovely place. Won’t be my last visit for sure 👍🏼プラス投票 Mar 1
- Diegoberto Bellamy2月 19, 2023The collection is tiny yet beautiful. The only way to get tickets from overseas is asking someone in Japan to buy them for you. But be aware that they’ll ask at the gate for the ID of who bought them.
- J-ZILLA12月 13, 2018It's quite small but very interesting and worth going especially if you're a fan, some really cool insight into the animation process using traditional techniques
- Carl Johan Crafoord2月 4, 2016You can easily walk here from Mitaka station. Plan to spend at least 3 hours getting lost here. There's lots that you won't see if you don't look close enough ;)
- Zack Sheppard3月 2, 2018Adorable and beautiful museum! Aimed at children and Japanese speakers, but all fans of the studio will enjoy it. I feel like I learned a lot about the process behind the films.
- Trish F4月 2, 2016Great for the Studio Ghibli fan! Arrived at 10am and short wait (15-20min) to get in. Make sure you buy your ticket beforehand (website has details, can buy from Lawson) as there aren't any door sales
- Ariane Rinehart8月 24, 2016Very cool museum. Quirky layout of the building, giant Cat Bus inside to sit in, plus you get to see a short Ghibli film only available at the museum.
- Kerry2月 26, 2018We had a wonderful tome, cute museum, good gift shop and you can attend a show. Make sure you queue 10 mins early for the show
- Jennifer Walter11月 22, 2016As much as I want to love this place with all my heart: its lack of crowd control and lack of English information makes me a bit sad. Go early! Head for the gift shop first to shop in peace.
- Magdalena Mrázková9月 27, 2015Brilliant experience that will allow you to become little child again. Prefectly explained the background of how the movies are created. If you're a Ghibli fan, it's an absolute must!
- Carlos Ch10月 18, 2014Even if not a fan of Ghibli Studios work, you should drop by and enjoy this awesome place! A great insight to how animation really happens. You must buy tickets in advance!
- Lani Halliday2月 25, 2017I got my ticket through JTB in NYC before I went to Tokyo. I took the Keio-Inokashira line and walked through Inokashira Park. The museum was an incomparable delight. A "must see"!!
- Tom Van Goylen3月 18, 2015The actual exhibit space isn't as big as the huge building would suggest but nonetheless this is a must see for any Ghibli fan. Great to see all the sketches and models!
