    Started with Kaisou Salad, excellent and fresh! Followed by the epic Gyoza! Crispy on the outside/tender on the inside. Was perfection! Loved the miso soup. Yakitori Don was awesome. Great experience

    Cozy dark restaurant fit for smaller groups. The monkfish liver and any dish with shishito peppers are sure to please, but get the crispy, salty, delicious blood vessels if you're feeling adventurous!

    Great place if you want Japanese but your friends don't like sushi. Great Japanese barbecue items. Sit at the counter to watch the action and get beer and food delivered via a long wooden paddle.

    Great sushi starters, even greater yakitori mains. Watching your dishes being prepared competes with timing and atmosphere for being the top non-food ingredient here. A tucked-away must visit!

    Try all of the yakitori it's bomb!! Right on point if u like grilled meats. The chicken karage was larger pieces thn expected was good. Soups good. Try the calpice here if your looking 4 soft drink

    Excellent. Try the traditional Yakisoba beef (kobe). For a great experience try different dishes (portions are small and could be share around the table).

    Grilled eggplant, chicken thigh, pork belly, bacon wrapped enoki were all great. Sitting at the counter watching your food being grilled was fun.

    Simply one of the best restaurants in NY. Blows everything else in the Yakitori category away. Do not miss the chicken ball skewers, grilled rice ball and veggies like eggplant and peppers.

    all things red meat and the chicken skewers are clearly the stars! also had the chicken hearts just because. unassuming place, reasonable prices.. it's nice to have a gem in midtown.

    Anything in a skewer is grilled to perfection, but also eat the eggplant which has such a fabulous sauce you want to dip everything in it. One of my favorite NY spots.

    YUM! My fave yakitori were the Momo (chicken thigh) and Tsukune (chicken meatball). Also delicious are the Tako Wase (marinated octopus) and Mizore Gake (fried eggplant).

    Totto is one of my favorites in NY and I always used to bring out of towners here for a taste of Japan. They only take reservations until 7pm.

    Be adventurous! Everything's great. Try the chicken neck and the stuffed peppers with chicken. Yummmm my fav. If your a food lover this is your place to explore

    Get reservations or be prepared to wait for a while. Try the special meatball (nankotsu tsukune) and duck. Fried eggplant if you're a fan of eggplant.

    Great yakitori menu. Gizzard is really good, idk if they regularly have it. Try the limited ones as they are out quickly. A long wait.

    The best miso I've ever had. Seriously. Get a lot of things. The chicken meatballs in brown sauce are of another world.

    Yakitori means grilled chicken (usually on skew) so of course that's the thing to eat here. Chicken used here is all free range so of course everything tastes better. Crazy wait is gone now...

    Food was excellent but space is tight so might be tough for large parties. Recommend the chicken meatball skewers. Great Sake too.

    Ask for the soft knee bone as soon as you get there (nankotsu) as it always sells out fast. Delicious!

    The rice ball is delish. Skewers are excellent. I like the rice with egg on it, it can be a little bland, but add some spices provided and it's awesome.

    Yakitori don is good, affordable, comes with nice salad and miso soup. but not the best Yakitori place. I wish they have more variety of meat on sticks like we have in japan.

    I ended up in the hospital by ambulance several days after eating here and have been sick for over a week. This is because of the campylobacter bacteria which comes from poorly handled poultry.
