Silene Lim: The Gremmil Lane location is elegant, with an almost New England atmosphere. Steaks are expensive compared to the US but done right. The lobster mac and cheese is divine. Two snaps.
Silene Lim: My new favorite steak house in Singapore. The below is the Costata Wagyu bone in rib eye, along with the mixed mushroom and creamed spinach cantorni.
Silene Lim: The cocktails are awesome as is the Art Deco ambience. Customer service by Singapore or New York standards is spectacular. Two snaps for the place.
Silene Lim: Steven Khoo, the manager is bad ass in terms of customer service. He sat us late and had such great humor. The soft shell crab, and the duck curries are amazing, so was the egg plant.
Silene Lim: The decor is just beautiful. The dips tzatziki and melitzanosalata are delicious. $4 for ONE pita is just plain ridiculous. I had the entree grilled chicken, pretty good. I'll go back sans pita.
Silene Lim: Super cute kitschy restaurant. The grilled lamb chops were awesome as that chocolate cake w/ coconut. Humus and tabouleh and baba ghanoush could add a whole lot more garlic!!!

Silene Lim: The salted egg fried fish is excellent, a definite must try. Everyone was raving about the hokkien mee but it was disappointing, a bit tasteless. The black pepper crab was excellent, the crab fresh.
Silene Lim: The pear and beet salad was really good. My dinner party had the Chilean seabass which was on the salty side but I had the scallop special with risotto which was good. Not great but good and hearty.

Silene Lim: It has been a while since I have been but the tapas are phenomenal. It doesn't hurt that it has a Michelin Star either, seven years in a row.
Silene Lim: My only complaint was rushing through our dinner. We were seated at 830 pm and they were closing at 10 pm. If I knew I would have made reservations earlier.
