The audio guide, here called "multimedia tour", is an iOS app: if you already have an iOS device, you don't need to pay the 5€ to rent a device: you can just download the Rijksmuseum app on the Store!
Make sure to checkout their Friday night agenda. Many times they have free entrance with live music and other activities!
One of the best views of the city not to mention an ultra cool modern library. Go to the top floor, order a hot chocolate and enjoy the view.

Give yourself more time than you think. You can easily spend 90 minutes in here. Pretty awesome.
This square is where you will experience wonderful works of art and remarkable events. Known as the Museum Square, this is home to the world-class museums such as Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.
Make sure to experience the live demonstration of how Rembrandt made his etchings, which are little known but highly valuable and enjoyable. This 15 minutes will make you admire him a lot more.

To the 2015 visitors: The park Keukenhof is open from 20 March - 17 May 2015 from 08.00 - 19.30. The ticket office is open from 08.00 - 18.00.
TRAVEL FACT: Hunt for bargains at the largest, best-known street market in the country. The Albert Cuyp is open Monday to Saturday from about 9AM until around 5PM.
