Started by some expats from NYC fine dining (Gramercy Tavern), serving mostly local, Long Island-sourced food, this is my favorite restaurant in the state of NY. A few elegant, simple rooms upstairs.
Cipollini is a classic, welcoming trattoria. Order the robiola and truffle oil thin-crust pizza or any one of their fresh pastas.
Cozy. Unpretentious. And the brussel sprout pizza was nothing short of amazing. The meat and cheese combo is worth a try as well. A phenomenal addition to a growing neighborhood.
The grilled Flatbread is AMAZING. Topped with greens, prosciutto, goat cheese, grape tomatoes and seasonally either fresh figs or poached pears. Enough for two to share.

Owner Tommy Tan recommends the shrimp with walnuts in an ivory mayo sauce or the crunchy fried chicken with roasted garlic. Be patient- that is the trade-off to enjoy top LI Chinese food.
Get here early or be prepared to wait. The best espresso and scones I've ever had. Get an iced coffee or cappuccino with shaved chocolate. If you use sweeteners, lay off for once.

The new tapas restaurant from the owners of Salumi is everything I hoped for, as awesome as its Massapequa sibling and unique. Thoughtfully curated wine, delicious tapas, and great staff.

I love this place!! Their Lobster roll is amazing and while your there grab yourself a bowl of clam chowder. It's very flavorful and has a lot of chunks of clams which I enjoyed. A must go!
Get there early for a Jelly Croissant! They sell out fast. Black and white cookie is huge and soft! Lemon squares are tart! Everything is delicious. Very friendly staff members. Neighborhood gem!
