excellent, inventive Thai fare. some of the best chix wings evar and the skrimps with pork belly and glass noodles were faaaantastic. big backyard is opening in time for summer. do it.
Do not come here if it is really cold out. You will simultaneously freeze/melt in the back tent.
If you get the wings (and you should), wait a couple minutes to eat them because they come out super hot
2 hour wait but, delicious authentic Thai food. Amazing salad with parsnips and lemon grass. Definitely order the pork ribs!!
Say NO if they want to seat you in the "heated" tent out back -- it was so cold I had to keep my coat on throughout and still it was freezing!
The fish sauce wings are everything. If you have a low threshold for spiciness, be careful and get some iced greens, sticky rice and drinking vinegar (all the flavors are yummy) to curb the heat.
These famous wings are marinated in fish sauce and palm sugar, and are the perfect blend of sweet and savory and crispy and juicy.
Mushroom salad was delicious but v spicy... Not for faint hearted. Brussels delicious too. Branzino/sea bass special was so so ESP after spicy salad. Suggest replacing it with a basil trout instead.
If mango sticky rice is out of season, get the affogato for dessert instead. Perfect balance of sweet and savory, hot and cold. My table decided it was like a warm, sexy hug.
First of all: yes, you want fermented black crab on the papaya salad. pork laap, pork neck, pork belly/shoulder curry, broken crepe, cha ca la vong are my choice orders. And don't forget a jelly beer!
Best to come a little bit later. They close at 10:30, ton of open tables around 9:30, 10. Super helpful staff. Also, it's fun to say POK POK.
BEST Thai Chicken wings...had it with Chang Beer last night and it was PERFECT!..finished w/ Ice cream sandwich & Durian Custard! now That's authentic Thai meal!! I miss home!
Definitely the pork neck and the Chiang Mai sausage! Prawn and glass noodles were great but, compared to these, less memorable.
Half chicken + pork shoulder curry + sticky rice + pok pok salad = more than enough for two. The salad is SPICY so watch out! (can be fixed with a cold Beer Lao)
What Thai people actually eat in Thailand. Except for the affogato, but damn its so good i forgive you. Authentic ingredients and flavors. Extra points for no pad thai!

Cheap hole in the wall diner in the heart of midtown, an unlikely but delicious source for Cubanos and other sandwiches.
Service was pretty good, but we waited so long for our food. Loved the plaintains; I could eat them all day long. Not mushy or too sweet. Also dug the Moi Moi. Thumbs up. I would go here again.

The Benedict is seductively prepared. Just the right amount of hollandaise, yolk, and muffin crunch (TWSS).
German pancake for brunch was good, but I couldn't finish mine because it was soaked in so much butter-lemon juice. The fruit scones were delicious.
You can taste each of their loaves of bread before buying . Be careful! You may leave with one of each loaf!
Delicious quiche Lorraine, baguettes, croissants, coffee - I've yet to find a fault (besides it getting too crowded to eat sometimes).
The best croissants in New York City (and I'm French.). It gets completely packed on weekends, but it is worth it to stay and enjoy your delicious meal.
If you are in the mood for tea, get the "Rainforest." Add some honey and it is like a dessert soup of complete refreshing breath of fresh air. Utmost excellent tea I have ever had.
