Gan Toy: If you want to taste what true specialty coffee is about, this should be one of your top spots in Tokyo. The proprietor, Suzuki-san, is deeply rooted in Japan's third-wave, and his passion shows.

Luis Mendo: Hidden gem. Spacious place w good coffee tucked away in omotesando where you can work and/or relax nicely.

Alper Çuğun: This is a beautiful coffee stand with splendid coffee. The location is a bit out of the way which makes it great to drink your coffee and stare out of the window.

Vincent Tan: They only start serving alcohol at 7pm. Before that - it's coffee. Good strong coffee.

Krishna Sivaranjan: Nice coffee shop. Small, simple, and very cute. Tucked in meguro so a bit of a walk to get to. If you buy a bag of beans you get a free coffee

Sam Jones: Great little cafe, owned and run by two friendly Japanese guys. Good coffee and tea. Nice place to chill for a while .

Casey Lau: It's a bit hidden but basically across the street and down an alley from Midtown. But very relaxed compared to the ones in San Francisco.

Youssof Mal: THE perfect coffee shop. Excellent coffee any way you like it, amazing atmosphere. try the Gibraltar for something more unique.

Amy Graff: Great spot to go after your sushi breakfast in Tsukiji Fish Market. Enormous, silky-smooth, and affordable (Y550) triple shot lattes in a chill setting. Friendly staff and modern decor.
