Amit Gaharwar: Gateway to the titisee lake and trails to Black Forest. Reach from Freiburg, train every half an hour from there. In summers there is a seam train that runs, which is worth a ride.
Amit Gaharwar: Calm and nice views of the lake. Picnic and swimming not allowed. Which is ok as swimming pool is just next to the park plus swimming can be done in the lake also in the adjacent bath.
Amit Gaharwar: A shirt walk from the Bahnof or from the boating area. Entrance is just EUR 3.50. Great fun in the swimming pool and the lake. The platform in the lake has a slide as well.

Amit Gaharwar: Great views of the nearby Alps. You can start your paragliding from here or just do a stroll around the whole green area. Or possibly just walk from east to west station.
Amit Gaharwar: Awesome views of Basel. Walk a bit further to see the farm with cows, hen and rabbits. A small vineyard is also accessible. Take a walk in summers for views and fresh air.

Amit Gaharwar: Peace on the lake. Great views and serene waters. Catch cruises from Brienz or Interlaken Ost for a full tour. Do visit Giessbach falls!

Amit Gaharwar: Great views of the Thun lake. Entry fees is a bit steep (CHF 18). Take Bus 21 from Interlaken towards Thun Bahnof. Get down at stop Beatushohlen.

Amit Gaharwar: Beautiful views of the riviera from the station. Bus 81, 94 and 100 stop here. There is a supermarket just next to the station. Villa Kréylos, Rothschild can be reached from here.
Amit Gaharwar: Use the escalators to reach the harbour. The station itself is small but comfortable especially on hot sunny days and one had had a walk in Monaco.
Amit Gaharwar: If you are in Basel and want to travel in France, book SNCF tickets from Mulhouse. It will be lot cheaper than booking from Basel. Basel St. Johann to Mulhouse costs just CHF 6 with regular trains.
