If you don't do Little Bird when you visit Portland, I feel sorry for you. The food is amaze balls and consistent for 18 months and counting. For those at R/GA, JDI.
Get your meal with the wine pairings! They are friendly and interested in sharing their knowledge. I felt comfortable asking questions despite my limited wine knowledge. The food is otherworldly.
If you don't feel like making pancakes, the Slappy Benedict is AMAZING! I'll die earlier for having the Pork Belly Benedict - SO worth it!
A tad bit sketchy in some parts but quaint during the day. Lan Su Garden nearby and nearby train to take you to and from Downtown.
Smoked rotisserie chicken and Harris Ranch prime rib were cooked to perfection. The Backyard Margarita in a jam jar is a must in a hot summer day!

This park sits underneath the old green St. Johns bridge, and the way the bridge is built from underneath gives it the illusion that you're in a large cathedral building. Beautiful

As someone who grew up eating and making southern Thai food, I can vouch for this place's authenticity & tastiness. Share the hat yai fried chicken, southern ground pork (khua Kling) + a curry.
Really delicious cheese selection with great sides and a nice happy hour menu. Can't remember the name exactly, but the sheep's cheese is unbeatable
Gigantic and cheap bowls of handmade pasta without pretension. Always try the Chicken Radiatore, which is an updated chicken cacciatore, complete with crispy chicken skin adornments.
A sculpture by Raymond Kaskey above the entrance of Michael Graves' Portland Building. It's 34ft, 10in high. If standing, she would be about 50ft tall. A plaque contains a poem by Ronald Talney.
Try the Fried avocado street taco. Went here for Nacho Week. Got it as a supplement (unnecessary, but delicious). Their standard nachos look amazing, too.

Everything. Get everything. The pork belly (Machanka), the cherry dumplings, fish board, salmon roe, borsht, khachapuri, and the baltic sprat buterbrodi all blew our minds.
Skip the lines at Salt And Straw if you are impatient and go here. Barely any lines and all they serve is delicious, authentic, GELATOOOO.

The park first opened in 1871 & was first known as City Park. John C. Olmsted gave the park its current name in 1909. It is also the site of Portland's first zoo.
The garden opened in 2000. Most of the plants featured in the garden are indigenous to China, but no plants were brought from China due to import bans. Some plants in the garden are 100 years old.
