At Beaucoup Bakery, the pastries are pretty solid (the plain croissant scores high on my scrutiny test, and the pine nut croissant is impressive), and the tarts are works of art.

Stanley Park is one of the biggest city park in the world, with the best beaches around including English Beach. Take a walk around the sea wall or visit the Vancouver Aquarium. This is the best park.

Probably one of the best coffee shops to study at in Vancouver. Everyone here is studying so it's quiet and the coffee is good too. Cute, quaint and quiet place to work.

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places to brunch in Vancouver. Be prepared for a crazy line-up, though -- wouldn't recommend going in a large group unless it's after 1pm.

A small but great little museum featuring all things Vancouver. Loved the Happy Show and Neon Ugly exhibit as well as artifacts through Vancouver's history.
Check out the skeleton on display of the largest animal on earth, a blue whale.
One of my favourite places in the city. The hit classes are amazing here. Definitely try the yin on Tuesdays and Saturdays to really stretch those muscles!
Guaranteed laughs. Some of Vancouver's best (and unfortunately worst) comics perform here.
Watch for the Sunday morning film series. You get bagels, a muffin, coffee and juice with you admission.

This tiny bar and restaurant tucked away on Carrall has cocktail fans thoroughly over-excited thanks to bartender H's creative concotions.
Tried several of their menu items @ Tasting Plates Chinatown, but I much preferred the dish they showcased at Chefs in the Field: Dr. Octopus vs. Mr. Tuna. That was awesome!
Definitely review the list of cocktails - helps guide you through what you should order (fresh or bold, etc) and when (pre or during dinner).
Ticking all the essential Hipster Hang Out boxes (exposed brick, taxidermy, cutesy condiment containers and vintage portraits) it’s scoring much love for its fried chicken, burgers and cocktails.
