Get the strawberry charlotte. It never disappoints. Black bottom cupcakes are good as well. There's a parking lot in the back but it's a little tight.
Smooth drip coffee. Americano is bright. Skip that blue place up the street. Also very nice that non-dairy options don't cost extra.
The Americano is smooth and not sour. Friendly staff and lots of laptops running. The hipster design is a little over the top.
Always check the parking lot. If you're vegetarian I would try the tofu dream - it's an inari roll with soft tofu instead of rice!
Not much variety or change in trucks week to week. Lemon ricotta donuts from streatery are a standard. But all the kids look like they're having a blast!
A nice cafe for a weekend brunch/lunch, with half the seats outside. Serving coffee roasted down the street. Definitely a eat/chat location, not for plopping down with a laptop.
The corn bread crust works best with deep dish but the thin crust is passable. Would pick it over Zachary's any day. NB: the garlic bread is plain sourdough with ramekins of butter and roasted garlic.
The vampire style tacos are impressive, but the cheese drowns out all the other flavors. Would not recommend. Truffle fries are very truffley.
Awesome place to learn and do the sport of fencing. Stop in around class times to see what's going on and talk to the maestro.
Reasonably priced and tasty, but usually too crowded to make it worth it for me. The vegan option is actually very good but needs additions or it gets monotonous. Avoid the pesto - too oily.
Park in the west (downhill) lot if you at all suspect it'll be busy. The east lot is smaller and fills up faster. There's also a park-and-wait row.
The coffee is just okay, but it's the only cafe in the area with reasonable seating. Quite convenient on the way to BART in the morning.
