Rice Box is one of my personal favorites & it accepts Cougar Cash, which is always a plus.

Dylan Acres4月 15, 2012As a student of SHSU I used to hang out here on Friday's waiting on my then girlfriend to get finished with class. The GD Hines Architecture building is a lovely spot to chill out.
A lot of my money is funneled into this place; I am thankful to have a top-notch university in town.- Parking is an issue! During peak class times, count on either no spaces avaialable or a long hike. If you try the outlying lot near the architecture building, chances are you might find a space. Food
If you're studying Communication, PR, Marketing, Advertising or just want to be involved with some fun groups, join PRSSA, AAF, AMA or IABC!!!

Feeling sleepy ?? Best place cullen pit . Sofa in library and in writing center.... so on ...

Watch out for students texting, walking with headphones and not paying attention. They'll walk into your car.

The parking would be easier if the majority of the students knew how to drive. Yield where it says yield!
- There is a store in old science and research building .... its much cheaper than the rest of the college shops....
Do not forget to buy your University of Houstonian yearbook... "The Houstonian," remember college...and not just through facebook!
I park at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. Free lot and no towing. Saves cost on commuting parking passes!
Go to Barron's and have their awesome Stuffed Burrito and Tres Leches! It's a student run place.
Protip: Arrive Early. If you don't get here before 8:30 am you will not find parking. Stop complaining.
Dont wast time on breaks study or find a big class and learn something for free.... stealingknowledge.com
