Love love loved this tucked away restaurant by the river. Pap and boerwors, stew, and steak right off the coal stove. Dip your toes in the river while you wait!

One of the prettiest towns in Africa, you've got to visit Jubilee Square and Boulders Beach.
You’ll pass Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins, before reaching the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. The view from one of the peninsula’s highest points is unparalleled.
Take your time. Some people grab a photo at the sign and go. The park is big. Give it a look. Walk on the beach. Enjoy.
Worth the visit for the view. You can see the Cape of Good Hope and the other side of False Bay. Take a funicular up, and walk down.
Stop in for a coffee. Grab sandwiches and take them to Kirstenbosch or Table Mountain
You can buy your tickets in advance online and go the first day it's clear out! Nice walks at the top, allot some time.

Low budget tip: take out from eastern food bazaar and laze in the gardens. Or takeaway coffee from yourstruly on longstreet and pop through with a book or mailnguardian
Great spot for a family or couple picnic. Plenty green fields, benches and an outdoor gym as well. Dog friendly but pay attention to signs as certain areas are off limits.
The former Methodist church was a shelter for anti-apartheid protesters during the Sixth Municipal District’s 1960’s fallout. Today, the museum hosts a range of works, from photos to living documents.
Make sure you hit them at"brunch" hour. Coffee is good, food come up nice presentation, cool vibe, great place to hangout on a lazy Saturday noon
Love love love this place. You could easily spend several hours here; bring a book/blanket/picnic or treat yourself to scones at the tea house.
Wonderful colourfull place. With the opportunity of receiving a funny drum class before tasting a lot of different flavours of its African menu. Highly recommended.
A must-see for visitors. Takes at least 3hours to get through it - actually more. Nice gift shop.
This is a very well done museum; don't skip it when you do the Constitution Hill tour.
Tours leave every half hour and take about an hour. Don't forget to leave time for the women's prison, very well done museum.
