If you're a tourist here, the 1st thing you should do is go to the SL Access and get a tourist card, so you can get any metro, tram or bus whenever you want to. There are cards valid until 1 week.

Visit the oldest and biggest open-air museum of the world: The Skansen on the island Djurgården. This great museum also houses Stockholm's zoo as well as really nice restaurants and cafes. Ha så kul!

Visit Olof Palme's grave in the nearby Adolf Fredrik's cemetery, Walk norrh one block on Sveavägen to the beautiful Adolf Fredrik church.
Great city, there are always things to do and places to see. If you want to get points for this checking you have to be around city hall!
A really nice place just to hangaround and comment people ;) The best spot is the stairs of the Nobel Museum. Enjoy!

Simply a gr8 and healthy place to eat! Each dish tastes delicious and is well worth the wait at the buffet in warm summer nights. In this trendy place nobody leaves hungry, expectations exceeded!

It's a very nice thing to do when you're in Stockholm. Go with the subway to Ropsten and take bus 203 to Millesgarden.
Lovely art collection (sculpture, painting) and a wonderful view. Give yourself about 10 minutes walk from the 7 tram and about 45 mins to check out the place.
The café is secretly run by swedish café veteran Monica Ahlberg (of Rosendal fame) since three weeks. (Remember where you heard it first! :)
Really nice hotel, a five minute walk to the city centre, on the waterfront. The Museum of Modern Art is just across the street, don't miss it.

A museum, which once was a residence of a wealthy Swedish aristocrat family. Gorgeous interiors and collections. Try to attend a guided tour so you'll be able to see the upper floors as well.

The German Church was founded in 1571. It has a tower which is 96 meters tall and was added in 1866 after a fire. The interior is quite colourful so pop inside if you are passing by.
Have a glass of wine (no fine beers though) on the open terrace with an awesome view over the bay.
Around Stureplan you will find the clubs and bars for the hipster folks. Want to drink beer in plastic mugs, enjoy a Swedish meat-market and pay an awful lot of money for it? This is the place.
May be sliiiiightly biased, as I work here, but this is THE place to bring your kids. Interactive exhibitions, children´s theatre, and homemade pastries to die for. Oh, and lovely staff! ;)
Really not worth the effort - ok art but doesn't hold even a small match let alone a candle to the whiskey museum in Edinburgh. Not even a free taste at the end!

Where the park is located today there was once a canal which lead up to the square behind the park, it was filled up in the middle of the 1800s and the park was put in place. It's a beautiful spot!

This is the Sweden's national gallery, and has some of the best art collections from the Middle Ages - 1900. Also has works by Goya, Degas, Renoir, etc. Free admission for children and those under 19
Its café, Cafe Blom, is one of my favourite Stockholm summer time hideaways, lovely quiet courtyard and garden with Picasso art. Have some rose wine, tapas and cakes. Great prices.

Founded in 1987, this art space is one of Europe's most important institutions of contemporary art. Don't miss the awe-inspiring "Dawning" exhibit by James Turrell. Also hang out at their cozy café.
This gallery/exhibition hall is dedicated to Swedish contemporary art. After going around the exhibits, you can also dine at their Spetsen restaurant. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
