The campus’ original building opened in 1894 as St. Louis College. It’s named for St. Aloysius Gonzaga, who signed his name “Luigi.” The Marianists used the French version, Louis, for their school.
The pavilion surrounded by pecan trees is the site of many outdoor events -- most notably Oyster Bake, an annual, two-day Fiesta event that hosts more than 70,000 people for food and music.
Behind St. Louis Hall, you’ll find this open space where students love to hang out. Fraternities and sororities set up shop there on Friday mornings for "Greeks on the Quad" and show their letters.
Near the center of campus on the plaza, the Bell Tower is the site of official events, memorial services and informal student meetings.
"The Caf," located on the first floor of the University Center, has the widest variety of food choices on campus. Come hungry, and try the Rattler.
This is the main library on campus, not to be confused with the Sarita Kenedy East Law Library. This is also the stomping grounds of Spice and other campus cats.
The 3,500-seat sports and event arena is located in the Alumni Athletics & Convocation Center, which also features a natatorium, the Movement Studio and a fitness area that's open late.
Nickname for the six upperclassman residence halls on the south side of campus. Before 1982, this was the site of a nine-hole golf course called the Lawrence Welk Links.
Reinbolt Hall (1908) is named for the Rev. John N. Reinbolt, S.M. (1824-1895), who urged St. Mary’s to build a boarding school away from town to free up the downtown campus for day students.
Chaminade Tower (1921) and Chaminade Hall (1953) are named for Blessed William Joseph Chaminade (1761-1850). A Chaminade Tower annex built in the '50s was replaced with a five-story annex in 1993. 続きを読む

Ernest A. Raba Law Building (1968) is named for Ernest A. Raba, dean of the School of Law from 1946 to 1978. He helped secure the funds needed to move the downtown law school to its present site. 続きを読む
