Parking attendants don't really help the Christmas parking situation.
The ONLY good time to go is on a Tuesday at 9am, otherwise its too crowded & parking is a joke.
Check out happy hour drinks specials at Coastal Flat or Gorden Biersch.

Come during the week to avoid the worst of the crowds and the 495 construction traffic.
Pretend that you are the only person in the world and run into everyone cause you are too damn busy checking your phone!
