Tim, the winner of MasterChef 2011 works here behind the bar...but I don't think he was too happy about that! But none the less, a great pub, with amazing selection of ales, and pizza! I recommend it!

Absolutely knockout pub. Scores the highest marks in every category for me. Great beers and several of them, good service, top location. Not tried food but Thai is on the menu.

Opening shortly after the Great Fire, this ancient pub was regularly visited by Dr Johnson when he was taking a break from writing the first English dictionary, at his home in nearby Gough Square.

This pub was built in 1720 on the site of an older tavern. As a boy Charles Dickens, who used to visit his godfather who lived nearby, was made to stand on a table and sing to the patrons.

This historic pub on the site of a tollgate was once the haunt of highwaymen, who when caught were hanged nearby. The pub appears in Dickens’ Pickwick Papers and in Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Absolutely top-notch perfect. Something like ten real ales on tap, all locally sourced. Old-school record player, outdoor toilets and an ancient chap playing the piano (very well). Highly recommended.
Possibly the best live music venue in London. It's tiny, but gets bands just on the verge of breaking. Get there at about 8, drink bottled beer, and sit upstairs.

This is a really lovely pub. I've worked round here for 4 years and there are so many tourist traps in covent garden. But this is a fab quirky place!
The best pub in Tooting, and one of the best in South London. Meantime wheatbeer is my preference. Steak is good, if a bit charcoaly. I don't like ketchup, but their home-made ketchup is brilliant.

On the face of it, a great looking pub- in actual reality, the best value for money Thai food. If you can get a table- have the Pad Thai; it's the (pea)nuts!
One of my favourite pubs in London... avoid if allergic to cats, as there are a few that happily roam throughout the pub. If not, make sure you pop in here for a proper London Ale.

Very nice pub to chill out. Room in the back is great for big groups and they also have live music regularly. Sunday lunch/brunch menu is quite nice.

Nice place that does get a bit crowded with out-of-towners in the weekends, but is a nice place for a drink before heading into town.
All beers available in a 2 pint glass. Less time at the bar more tome talking and socializing. Enjoy
We finally did it. We finally managed to get the prized seats in the raised 'pulpit' area.
A great laid back pub with great tunes and a yummy fish finger sandwich. A pub for people who know what's good.
Plan your route to Paradise carefully! It's such a hidden gem - and a bit of a walk from the tube. Worth it though - sprawling, well-designed and very, very special.
Great bar with circus performances Thu-Sat. Book tickets and reserve a table in advance as it gets rammed. Cash only bar in the circus area. Also, pop out the back; there's an amazing beer garden too
