The waffles and chicken here is spectacular! Kool Aid is delicious. It takes awhile for your food to come but it's worth the wait.

Delicious sandwiches and beer. The baked beans are spicy and probably not what you're used to. We had the longhorn and the reason, both of which were delicious. Beer list is exemplary.

The Detroit and the Motown. Amazing! Definitely lived up to the hype. Supposedly this is the birthplace of the deep dish pie. True or not, it doesn't matter. Very good and reasonably priced too

love stopping in here for a mead or two anytime we're in ferndale. perfect for date night or with friends. mead is sweet, strong, and different from just wine. and schramm's knows how to do it well!
Everything is good. This place is old, loud and has uncomfortable seating. Yet I come here every time I'm in the area cause the beer is special.
Chocolate Decadent was delish, and my fav! They have a backroom with cornhole set up, and they have lots of board games too. Nice venue, and just a quick stroll off the RiverWalk.
No servers to bring you drinks and lines can get long. Good variety of Jolly Pumpkin sour beers as well as non-sour beers from North Peak. Interesting wood-fired pizza varieties to go with the beer.

Always great beers on tap in small batches. You have to come back often. The best brewery in Detroit and my personal favorite in Michigan. Food is delicious as well. Nice patio that allows dogs.
Do not buy Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. There are so many better beers here. Don't sell yourself short. Bell Oberon is far superior.

Amazing bookstore with FOUR floors of used books. I could spend hours going through all the different sections of books here. Great views of downtown, and cool bookstore set-up (took lots of photos!).
