My new fave downtown spot; 90% of decor is reclaimed, ask the hostess Rambo to take you on a tour - she's fantastic. Food, drinks, service, vibe, all special. Varied seating - great for all occasions.
Truffle fries and pancakes as an "appetizer" is the gluttonous move you know you should make. On a parallel yet lighter note, the brunch salads are all really delicious!
Was surprisingly impressed with this place. The downstairs area is great for a private party, and the food was good. They served some of the best shrimp cocktail I've ever had.
This restaurant boats delicious Honey Biscuits, glazed in honey and butter. Secret tip: there are also served with honey wasabi fried chicken on late nights!
Burgers are hearty and too tough to finish. Mixed drinks are on point. Cool LES spot - be prepared to spend some $$$...homemade ice cream was a great end to the meal!
Definitely come here for drunk brunch- you can't go wrong. The salmon benedict is to die for! Beware of the crappy service, though. Remind your waiter that you exist.
The restaurant was designed by artist Brian Goggin, who crafted it as a living art installation, w/ the next phase requiring a trip to Greenland to harvest ice for a sculpture to live in a reliquary.
Douchey service, awkward layout, decent food. The oysters are good, the drinks are terrible. And it's incredibly overpriced. So...a mixed bag, I'd say?
Offering Rustic American cuisine, with an emphasis on steaks, chops and oysters from locally sourced and organic sources. Prepared by Chef John Parlatore.
