Nathan Rhoads: Surprisingly kid friendly in the early evening. Delicious drinks, great staff, and better than expected pub grub.

Nathan Rhoads: Decent back-up when Zazie's line stretches down the block. Very good brunch with standard Italian fare for dinner. Very kid friendly.

Nathan Rhoads: They even have chopsticks for kids! Good neighborhood sushi joint.

Nathan Rhoads: Outstanding breakfasts and some hidden delicious tapas. Gets cramped, but worth it.

Nathan Rhoads: Cole Valley destination for urban chic designs. Pricey.

Nathan Rhoads: Kind of like Pickers for winos. Some really good values mixed with so so. Look for the Cole Valley branded wine. Actually very very good (2006 Cab Franc)

Nathan Rhoads: Top of the hill outpost has one of the best wine selections in the city from one of the more interesting purveyors.

Nathan Rhoads: Incredible cheese selection with knowledgable staff, as long as they aren't too busy. Sandwiches are top flight.
