Behind black shutter doors in Guéliz, Le Loft serves bistro standards executed to perfection (not to mention a mean mojito). Le tout Marrakech table-hops in the dining room and on the front terrace.
If you're American and haven't had a very good hamburger in a while, order one here. They're as good or better than many restaurants in the US. Not so much the frites though.

Pretty expensive but nice place. No alcohol is served outside (at least not on the Saturdaynight we were there). Inside they do.
The duty free shops only take Euros or cards, and there are no exchange shops once through security. So if you want to buy anything other than sandwiches, change your Dirham before going through
Avoid the street sellers, henna tattoo women and other tourist traps. Just say 'Merci' and keep walking. You really should try the orange juice from the many juice stalls, it's totally refreshing!
If you're in Morocco, do some cooking with Gemma. Fantastic day of buying ingredients at the markets, learning about the food and spices, cooking the Moroccan way: then eating it all! Brilliant day.
Never pay full price for anything, go in at least half price! Ignore people giving directions, they'll make you pay! It's more fun to get lost! A large bottle of water should cost 6 dirham max!
A great place for a dinner with a show; the only issue is that ... Everything is really dark there ;-) we couldn't see our dishes.
This is the place to come for a champagne brunch and party. Spend the day lounging by the pool.
