Very nice museum but not always family friendly. Call ahead and ask if the exhibits are appropriate for kids before you come.

"Those that can't do, teach" doesn't apply here. Look around and you'll see marks of the famous artists who taught here like Thomas Eakins and Cecilia Beaux.
