Ace pub all round. If you can get a seat by the river, look up at the sign overhead - tells you there's a sewerage pipe leading out into the Thames beneath. Bottom's up.
Sunday roast that does not suck. Nothing overdone. The beef rare to medium rare, the vegetables crisp and flavorful. Nice thick crispiness on the potatoes.

Casually flying under the radar, this is one of the best restaurants in London. Order anything confidently from the menu - you're in good hands.

Lovely interior; deceptive from the street. Looks/feels posh w/out excessive prices. Not for the squeamish, with taxidermy everywhere.

Nice cosy pub with a big outdoor area, they do a roast dinner on a Sunday, which I need to go back for!
The Sunday roast menu is worth trying. Slow-cooked lamb was great. Seafood starters sounded significantly better than they tasted, but they were acceptable. Coffee was mildly acceptable. A bit noisy.

Of the three Gastropubs in the area this is by far the best. But, West End prices on the Uxbridge Road are a bit hard to swallow. Still, it keeps the riffraff out, except me. Knowledgable staff.
Gastro pub for the game enthusiast. Great selection of steaks and wine list to go with it. Attentive staff very keen to help.
Excellent Sunday roast lamb & beef, generous portions so only order starters if super hungry! Orange soufflé is amazing. Service was efficient & friendly. Time limits on tables but never felt rushed.

The Sunday lunch is epic -- Large boards of some of the best roast I've had in a pub. Beer taps could do with some greater brewer variety but there's a large wine list. East to spend a lot on Sundays.
