Always worth stopping by. The in-house Café is one of the calmest places around Oxford Street. Some exhibitions are free of charge and the shop has a large collection of photo books and retro cameras.
Over numerous sites, the Paul McCarthy exhibition is well worth a trip before it ends on the 14th Jan 2012
The South London Gallery is regarded as at the forefront of the contemporary art scene, and a platform for young artists and curators. Brunch in the garden café is an essential weekend boost.

The ICA was founded in 1947 as a ‘playground’ for contemporary artists, and moved here in 1968. It hosted Damien Hirst’s first solo show and the debut London gig of Franz Ferdinand.

An impressive gallery with small, interesting exhibits and projects. Only two floors, the rooms are well-designed, giving visitors a large amount of white space to enjoy and walk through collections.

This Gallery hosts an array of artists who work with a variety of media. For lovers of Tacita Dean’s photography, a Bridget Smith film or a Callum Innes painting, there is something for everyone here.
An overwhelming collection of mostly beautiful art and artefacts. Gainsboroughs, Canalettos...and a restaurant. So definitely worth visiting ;)

Fantastic gallery - access is via a staircase inside the Tramshed restaurant.
This gallery is magnificent as well as sound. Come during later hours to enjoy the food, drink, and dance. We recommend the Bauhaus exhibit, which is one of the biggest in the UK in the past 40 years.
A short exhibition on Graphic Design. I loved some of the work on display and hopefully something more permanent will take it's place :)
