My partner and I had the pizza fondue, beet salad, and taleggio + roasted grape pizza. Everything was delicious! Great change of pace from typical deep-dish Chicago pizza. Friendly/attentive staff.
House made fennel sausage is far less salty than the otherwise delicious triple pepperoni truffle oil pie. Both are amazing. The apps, salads and desserts are amazing too!
So the Wild Mushrooms & Smoked Mozzarella Pizza is amazing. And the Spinach and Taleggio Fondue made me want to be a better person. The "Wisconsin Electric" Butter Cookies were only great. #vegetarian
The White Truffle Oil Fondue is the best thing on their menu. Their Bacon Bruchette is really good too, but it's not on the menu....see if they can still make it for you!
The Parma classic Canberra ordered as a white pizza and it's amazing, pair that with the seasonal wild mushroom bruschetta and the romaine lettuce salad and voi la, perfection
The roasted grapes added a nice sweet taste to the white pizza base. I'm glad I didn't order prosciutto with it because it was already too salty for me.
Before opening La Madia, chef/owner Jonathan Fox tested and re-tested his pizza recipe. Dough and pasta are made fresh here daily. Another great establishment by a CIA alumnus!
