The food is great here, especially the potato hash. Juices are a highlight and it is a beautiful (and short) walk from Manly Beach. It is expensive though, and Sunday's have a 10% surcharge.
Don't expect an extensive menu (there are five options and the menu is verbal) but this is one of NY's greatest diner experiences.

It's steep at $60 a person, but worth paying the extra 15 bucks for the ultimate pass so you get the most out of the summit. Go early before 10am to avoid the crowds (and pack a jumper).
Picnic board is the perfect afternoon lunch for two. Coffee up there with Revolver (Vancouver's best IMHO)
Fish tacos are amazing. Cheap margaritas are also great. Just be prepared for the junkies out the back in Blood Alley...
While the atmosphere needs a bit of work, the cheese and wine were excellent. Just don't expect to satisfy your hunger here. Head down the road to Tacofino (Taco bar) afterwards for fantastic tacos.

Perfect healthy, cheap and delicious lunch. Sandwiches can be converted to a salad for those seeking gluten free.
Incredible displays and some of the finest hand made goods in America. About a 30 minute walk from downtown along 23rd, or 5 minutes via uber. Totally worth it.
